You can recycle PVC by using our free collection service here at VEKA Recycling. We take your tired PVC windows and doors and turn them into contamination-free pellets. Our aim is to turn old PVC material into sustainable new products that have a positive effect on our planet.
We have created an innovative recycling process and work with fabricators and installers across the UK. Our close the loop service allows us to change the perception of PVC and create more eco-friendly products. PVC can be recycled up to ten times and boasts a lifespan of around 350 years.

Our Recycling Process
It is a hassle-free experience with us when you recycle your PVC. We offer a free pick up service and provide you with disposal bags so that you have one less thing to worry about. Each part of our process is designed to be as environmentally friendly as possible. We take a look at each route taken to pick up PVC and choose the routes which require less time on the road – reducing our carbon emissions. We also continue to grow the number of vehicles that run on LPG each year to lower our effect on the environment.
Once your PVC has reached our facility, we start by shredding the material into smaller and more manageable pieces. This allows us to handle it more efficiently and extract as much PVC as possible. We continue to sort by size and colour, whilst removing any non-PVC material. You do not have to worry about removing any hardware, as we have the machinery that can do this for you. Our extensive process is carried out until we have the raw material that we can turn into pellets.
When all the metals and colours have been separated and sorted, we can begin the final stage of our PVC recycling process. This is where VEKA compounds come in. We use an innovative melt filtration system that turns the PVC into contamination-free pellets. We work with trusted and specialised extruders that turn the pellets into eco-friendly uPVC profiles. This profile can be used to make a wide variety of home improvements products including windows, doors and tubing.

Benefits of Recycling PVC
Environment
One of the most obvious benefits of recycling PVC is its effect on our planet. Plastic waste over time has a negative connotation to it and we want to change that perception and increase the level of PVC recycling. If less waste ends up in landfill, it will take years to biodegrade and can overfill which is damaging to natural habitats.
PVC can also be recycled up to ten times, allowing us to produce uPVC with a 350-year lifespan. Recycled PVC products are also just as robust as when they were brand-new. We have achieved the ISO 14001 accreditation for environmental management. By obtaining this certification, it approves that we comply with the latest policies and standards.
Cost-Effective
Often putting the end of life PVC products in landfills is expensive, and we offer a cheaper alternative by using our recycling process. It isn’t just about burying your waste, there is constant management of landfills which is more money for the taxpayer. If landfill overflows, there are additional costs to finding a solution.
By choosing to recycle your old PVC material with us, you are helping the taxpayer and the economy. Recycling PVC is a long-term and sustainable solution. If you are seen to promote the use of recycled PVC you will be a much more attractive business. There are a variety of benefits that you will appreciate.
Legislation
Each year numerous environmental and recycling laws are being passed in the UK. Both homeowners and businesses have certain rules they have to comply with. There are certain ways to manage PVC responsibly and your business must comply with this. y
